Weed control

The major challenge with Queensland’s climate is it favours weeds as much as it does lawns. We have such a wide range of annoying visitors, from broad leef weeds to grasses, and you need to keep a regular eye out for cudweed, bindii, creeping oxalis, clover, dandelion and nutgrass, among others.Â

Often a healthy lawn that has been mown, fertilised and received an annual vertimowing, and perhaps dethatching depending on the lawn type and state, will be most resistant to weeds, as the healthy growth basically chokes out the weeds.
